The Colonels travel to BCC to take on the Barons in the final match of the regular season.

The Colonels fell short against a great Wootton team Monday night 3 sets to 1. They started out strong in the first set with a 14 point service run from Sonia Bing. The team fought hard all night totaling 27 kills with Sofia Gonzalez leading the way with 18. Chloe Tanseco ran a great offense tallying 25 assists. Sophia Richards was strong at the net recording 2 blocks. Defensively the Colonels were on fire with 40 good passes and 66 digs with 17 from Sonia Bing and 16 from Chloe Tanseco.. The Colonels are now 14-4 and look to bounce back against BCC on Wednesday.

The varsity volleyball team defeated Rockville in a 3-0 Sweep. The Colonels had a big night offensively recording 41 kills. Sofia Gonzalez led the offense with 20 kills and Sophia Richards added 8. Defensively the Colonels tallied 39 good passes with 10 from Sonia Bing and 35 digs with 13 from Arianna Murray. The team is now 14-3.

The varsity volleyball team defeated Northwood 3 sets to 1. The Colonels recorded 35 kills for the night with 9 from Sofia Gonzalez and 8 from Sasha Ried. Chloe Tanseco and Caroline Lucarelli ran a great offense totaling 28 assists. Defensively the Colonels tallied 79 good passes with 18 from Arianna Murray and 19 digs with 8 from Sonia Bing. The team is now 13-3 on the season.

The varsity volleyball team defeated Northwest in a 3-0 sweep. The Colonels recorded 27 kills for the night with 14 from Sofia Gonzalez, 6 from Arianna Murray, and 3 from Sasha Ried. Defensively the Colonels tallied 35 good passes and 35 digs with 8 from Paulina Velez Vassallo. The team is now 12-3 on the season.

The Colonels travel to Walter Johnson to take on the Wildcats!
The varsity volleyball team fell to Walter Johnson Monday night 3 sets to 0. The team totaled 22 kills for the night with 10 from Sofia Gonzalez and 5 from Sasha Ried. Chloe Tanseco recorded 22 assists. The Colonels struggled defensively. They had 29 good passes and only 19 digs. The Colonels are now 11-3.

The Colonels host the Blue Devils Tuesday Night!The varsity volleyball team defeated Springbrook in a 3-0 sweep. The Colonels recorded 28 kills for the night with 15 from Sofia Gonzalez, 5 from Arianna Murray, and 4 from Sasha Ried. Defensively the Colonels tallied 42 good passes with 11 from Sonia Bing and 37 digs with 9 from Paulina Velez Vassallo. The team is now 11-2 on the season.

The Colonels travel to Blake to take on the Bengals!
The varsity volleyball team beat Blake in an exciting 5 set match. The Colonels totaled 37 kills for the night with 17 from Sofia Gonzalez and 8 from Arianna Murray. Chloe Tanseco recorded 36 assists. Olivia Matala played a great match recording 2 blocks. Sonia Bing anchored the Colonels serve receive with 45 good passes and Arianna Murray played great defensively recording 8 digs. The Colonels are now 10-2 and their next match is at home on Tuesday 9/30 against Springbrook.

The Colonels travel to Sherwood to take on the Warriors!
The varsity volleyball team fell to Sherwood in a tight 5 set match Wednesday night. The team played a great match overall, they just fell a little bit short. The team totaled 47 kills for the night with 25 from Sofia Gonzalez and 9 a piece from Arianna Murray and Sophia Richard. Chloe Tanseco recorded 42 assists. The Colonels had a great night defensively tallying 5 blocks, 107 good passes and 45 digs with 13 from Sonia Bing. The Colonels are now 9-2.

The varsity volleyball team defeated Paint Branch in a 3-0 sweep. The Colonels had a great serving night recording 23 aces. Chloe Tanseco had 6 aces and Reme El Btadini and Sonia Bing added 3 each. The team also totaled 23 kills with 8 from Sofia Gonzalez and 4 from Arianna Murray and 4 from Sora Mitchell. Chloe Tanseco recorded 17 assists with one of them being her 1,000th career assist. The Colonels are now 9-1 and take on Sherwood next Wednesday 9/24.

The varsity volleyball team defeated Gaithersburg in a 5 set thriller. The Colonels were coming off a long weekend after playing in the Magruder Invitational on Saturday. The team totaled 37 kills for the night with 20 from Sofia Gonzalez and 6 from Arianna Murray and 6 from Sasha Ried. Chloe Tanseco recorded 28 assists. Passing was on point! The Colonels had 128 good passes for the night with 31 from Sofia Gonzalez, 29 from Sonia Bing, and 24 from Arianna Murray.

The Colonels finished 2nd in Zanni's Magruder Invitational after losing to Quince Orchard, after beating them in Pool Play. Magruder went undefeated in pool play defeating Quince Orchard, Blake, and Paint Branch. The Colonels then went on to beat Springbrook in the semifinals. Sonia Bing and Chloe Tanseco were named to the All Tournament Team.
The Colonels host Blair at Home!
The Colonels defeated Blair in straight sets! They ran an effective offense recording 37 kills with a .358 hitting percentage, The team totaled 7 aces, 43 digs and 45 good passes. Sofia Gonzalez led the offense with 17 kills, Arianna Murray added 7 and Sasha Ried added 5. Chloe Tanseco totaled 34 assists for the night. On defense, Sonia Bing had 17 digs and Paulina Velez Vassallo had 7 good passes. The Colonels are now 3-0 and host the Magruder Invitational Saturday, September 13th!
The Colonels travel to Damascus to take on the Hornets!
The Colonels defeated Damascus in a clean 3-0 sweep. They ran a powerful offense totaling 46 kills for the night with 21 from Sofia Gonzalez and 10 from Arianna Murray. Chloe Tanseco was on point dishing out 41 assists! The defense did an amazing job keeping the rallies alive with 34 digs and 92 good passes with 27 coming from Sonia Bing and 19 from Paulina Velez Vassallo. The Colonels are now 2-0 and take on Blair at Home Wednesday night!

The Colonels host the Coyotes in our first match of the season!The varsity volleyball team defeated Clarksburg Friday night in a thrilling 5 set match. The team totaled 42 kills, 17 aces, 87 digs and 77 good passes. Arianna Murray led the offense with 15 kills, Sofia Gonzalez added 11 and Sophia Richards added 9. Chloe Tanseco totaled 38 assists. On defense, Sonia Bing had 35 digs and Paulina Velez Vassallo added 14. The Colonels start off the season 1-0 and head to Damascus on Monday to take on the Hornets.
